Biography
Susanne grew up in Brisbane and has since become one of two Lawyers from her large family, after having attended All Hallows’ School in Fortitude Valley. Susanne now lives in Warwick, Queensland with her Husband and young family, working as a Solicitor at our firm and helping her husband run their family owned and operated plumbing business.
Susanne began working at Maxwell and Lancaster Solicitors in 2021 and practices in the areas of Family Law including property settlements and Divorce Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Leasing.
Susanne is passionate about helping clients navigate their future with empathy and kindness, and is authentic and considerate in her practical legal advice.
Susanne has a future focused approach and provides her clients with options such as Alternative Dispute Resolution to make their own informed decisions to move forward with dignity.
QUALIFICATIONS
Susanne holds a Bachelor of Justice (Policing) from the Queensland University of Technology, a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Griffith University, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Law from the College of Law (Family Law) (Family Dispute Resolution); she is admitted as a Solicitor in Queensland, is recognised on the High Court Register of Practitioners in Australia and holds an Unrestricted Practicing Certificate as a Solicitor in Queensland.
As well as her professional pursuits, Susanne is Mum to three beautiful children, wife, member of the Queensland Law Society (QLS), member of QLD Women Lawyers Association (WLAQ), member of QLD Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA), member of Family Law Pathway Network (FLPN), member of Downs & South Western Law Association (DSWQLA), was a former member of the Warwick Rotary Club, former volunteer of Crime Stoppers Queensland (Bayside) for 7.5 years and is an active Sponsor of community events and clubs such as the Warwick Turf Club, Warwick Cowboys Rugby League and Warwick Cowboys JRL with her family owned plumbing business, and continues to support local businesses in Warwick.
