Estate Disputes
Unfortunately, disputes may arise over the assets of an estate. In some instances, a Will may be poorly drafted this can lead to situations where a legitimate beneficiary is not treated fairly.
If you are concerned about how the assets of an estate are being distributed and you believe you will not receive your fair share, we encourage you to please contact us.
Time limits apply when making a claim against an estate which may mean you cannot make a claim if you wait too long.
We can advise you whether you have a valid claim, and if so how you should proceed. In the event of a dispute we will work with you, the executors of the estate and their solicitors to reach a negotiated settlement. Going to Court is a last resort that we recommend only when all other avenues have been exhausted.
