It is so important, to you and your family, that your Will and Enduring Power of Attorney (EPA) be current and truly reflect your unique circumstances. At Maxwell and Lancaster Solicitors Rebecca, Neil and Madeline aim to make this process as straightforward as possible and our initial appointments are often a friendly chat over a cup of coffee.
To help us along it is useful if you have the following information ready at your initial appointment:
- A list of your assets and their current worth (including any insurance or superannuation policies that you hold);
- The full names of the person/s whom you would like to appoint as the Executor/s or back up Executor/s or your Estate;
- The full names of people whom you would like to be a beneficiary under your Will; and
- Copies of any previous Wills or Enduring Powers of Attorney documents you may have, alternatively if these document are stored with another Firm the details of the Firm and we will arrange to have the documents forwarded to our office.
Our Will and Enduring Power of Attorney Checklist will help you sort through the information that we need and will get you thinking about what to include in your Will.
You can complete the Checklist and bring it with you to your initial appointment.
