Biography
Rebecca joined Maxwell & Lancaster Solicitors in October 2021 after relocating with her young family from Far North Queensland. She has practiced law in Queensland in the fields of Insurance, WorkCover, Personal Injuries, CTP Claims, Commercial Law, Debt Recovery, and General Litigation and Advice in Brisbane since 2003. Rebecca also has 30 years’ experience in the operation and management of regional family businesses and has been a small business owner herself.
Rebecca specialises in Conveyancing and Property Law, and is happy to assist clients with other enquiries pertaining to Business purchases and sales, Leasing, Debt Recovery, reviewing and drafting Agreements, and other issues that may be affecting your Small Business or Incorporated Association.
Rebecca seeks to ensure every client is comfortable and confident in their legal matters by keeping them fully informed and providing honest, thorough advice which has practical applications.
An active participant in the local community and sporting activities, Rebecca can often be seen refereeing local basketball fixtures in Warwick and Toowoomba or at Basketball Queensland State Championships events.
Qualifications
Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honors from Bond University and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2005. She also holds a Masters of Accounting and a Masters of Business, both with Distinction, from James Cook University in Cairns.
